The
Rainbow Bridge:
A Dog's Story
This
book continue's Henley's story. After
being rescued from a Lancaster, Pa. Puppy Mill, Henley was rescued
and then adopted into a loving home where he became Therapy
Dog, a Reading Buddy and a Humane Education Ambassador in
addition to writing his own book "My Name is Henley:
My life and times as a rescued dog." (see above). His
story has touched thousands.
Sadly, Henley's
own life came to an end on March 13th, 2010, just three days
after his twelfth birthday - but his story continues.
In true "Henley" tradition, the dear old Sheepdog comforts us
once again in his own voice - now from another place - to
help those who have suffered the loss of a pet and give them
a sense of closure.
This book is comforting to anyone who has lost a beloved
pet.
Soft
cover. 92 pages. Written by Judith Kristen, illustrated
by Myra Matias-Taylor.
Part of the proceeds from this book benefits three animal
rescue organizations - of which NEOESR is one.
