Hope, Dreams, Love

The Sheepie dog in the middle is the main character and what this square is all about - rescuing our lovable and deserving friends.  This OES is surrounded by all the things a puppy or a dog might dream of.  I was thinking of our own backyard when I made this with the hope that all rescue dogs will someday have backyards of their own where they can see a rainbow, feel the sun, chase a balloon, or just smell a flower.

The border is to symbolize the dreams that all rescue dogs must have. What they offer us is written in red on the border - Love, Hope, Dreams.  They can only give us this gift if we give them the gift of Rescue.

The three balloons with the golden stars are for my own 3 rescue dogs that have crossed over the rainbow bridge -
Savannah, Tofuti, and Shadow.  They were bright stars in our lives who remain tethered to us through their loyalty and the love we had for them.  The sunflower on the  left corner symbolizes our older dog, Bart.  He is the golden years of life just as the Sunflower is a deep golden color. The daisy next to him is for our newest rescue dog, Miss Daisy, with the hope that she blossoms into the bright spot in our lives that we expect.  The "B" in the right corner is for our own Sheepie Dog, Buckley.  He is not a rescue dog, but because of him, we have now had the honor of loving and appreciating this magnificent breed.

Thank you for this project!  All rescue groups should do as much for their chosen breeds!
