Gracilyn Rose is my first Rescue Dog. It truly is an amazing story. Grannie Annie was made aware that I wanted her to keep an eye out for a puppy. She told me a puppy under three months was highly unlikely, that was OK with me. The next week I checked in with her and was told not to get my hopes up but a pregnant bitch was being turned in the following week. She didn't know if she was too far along to abort the puppies. I was thrilled when I found out Gwennie was going to carry my SPECIAL GIRL to term. 

When I saw the litter, an even dozen, the puppy with the black ears and mask stole my heart. I wanted a female so that puppy had to be female - she had to be mine. YES, little Jingles was female and she was going to be mine! I was so thankful I got my first choice! 

With the help of special friends my baby made the long trip from New England to the Pacific Northwest. 

Graci was welcomed into our family with love and excitement. I couldn't believe she was really my puppy until I held her in my arms. 

Her two new big sisters love her very much. Sesse, my nine year old OES, mothers her and lavishes kisses and cuddles, but also lets her know who's Boss. 

Now with Madee my sister's four year old OES, it was love from the very start. She finally had a playmate to romp and play with. I'm sure Madee believes I got the puppy just for her. Little Graci was welcomed into the pack right away. 

My little girl has stolen the hearts of the Uprights living here. She's the apple of Papa Byron's eye and very much his little girl. Auntie Weeza, my sister, loves her to pieces and finds her to be a rascally bundle of joy. Unca Don, my brother, loves his little helper. She helps him feed the birds. In his words, "I'm the Uncle I can spoil her and give her back" 

As for me mere words can't describe how much I love my new baby.

As you can see by the picture of Graci and her big sisters she is in a family of much love and silliness.
