Lucy also known as "Princess Lucy B-C came to us seven years ago.  She had been found as a stray wondering around the streets of Connecticut.   She was fostered at Nannette and Jay Sawyer's and we came to see her at their house.  Harold played with her on the kitchen floor for about an hour.  I asked him if he liked the dog who Nannette had named Lucy as in "I love Lucy".  He replied that he was not sure, so I suggested he take her for a walk and see what she had perhaps been taught.  He and Lucy went for a walk and I waited very patiently, when they returned I asked again, "Harold what do you think?"  He repeated he was still not sure.....I said "Harold, put her in the car"...   We took her home and we have  enjoyed her once we got her trained  and a better dog citizen with people but she never got over lauding it over other dogs who are the slightest bit insecure.

But the best thing is our connection with the NEOESR, new friends and wonderful events.  All of this is why I agreed to be the President of this wondeful organization.  I invite all who have an interest in Rescue and Old English Sheepdogs to join us and volunteer.  We have so much to share with you.
